Pittsboro — Barbara Scott is charged with with one count of murder and two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. The victims were all elderly women. Barbara had once been employed as a housekeeper by Margaret Murta, 92, and her roommate Mary Corcoran, 82. Barbara was at their residence at an upscale retirement center to discussing a money dispute. With them was a friend of the elderly pair, Rebecca Fisher, 77, who had been asked to sit in and witness the discussion. Things got heated, and Barbara sprayed the women with pepper spray and began beating them with a cane-like object. Murta died Wednesday evening at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, and Corcoran and Fisher remained in the intensive-care unit.
Barabara, who owns her own cleaning service, has had run-ins before including a 2001 conviction of misdemeanor larceny and obtaining property by false pretense in connection with the theft of checks from a 90-year-old man. Part of her sentence included that she never have a position in which she would have access to an elderly’s persons possessions. She was arrested in September on a charge that she had taken, forged and cashed checks for more than $12,000 from a former client of her business. As usual, even with the past trouble with the law for being a goddamn theif, her friends and family are shocked, SHOCKED at these turn of events. I especially like the father’s logic.
“I am going to ask her did she do it. That is the first thing, of course,” her father said. “I just can’t believe my daughter would go and bust somebody’s head. If she tells me she didn’t do it, I’ll preach it to the end that she did not do it. I just can’t believe it.“

My god this woman (who looks like a man)is huge! God, I’d hate to have to tangle with her….and the mean mugging bitch goes and picks on some elderly ladies. Yeah, Kathy, I wish one of those women would of been “packin some heat”.
I always picture myself as one of those little old ladies rockin on my front porch with the shotgun sitting near. *smiles* Never know if some wild animal might be lurking about.

Oh god, Kathy. I love Yetta. She made the show sooooo damn funny. Ya know, my entire nursing career was mainly working with the elderly. I loved Geriatric Nursing. I took care of more than a few ladies like Yetta, too cool, I’ve heard some of the best damn stories. Man, some of those ladies were just cool as fuck.

I cannot wait to be elderly. I’m going to expose myself constantly wherever I go and yell at people for no reason. I’m also going to drive everywhere in a 1976 Cadillac. I’m also going to start doing heroin…because by that time, who cares…besides, I wanna see what the big deal is. I can’t wait.

Old people rule.
Except for once, when I was visiting my grandfather in a nursing home, this little old lady in a wheelchair called me over. I thought she needed help so I went to her. She kept whispering so I had to lean in closer. Then she stuck her hand in my tank top and started fondling my breasts. I was 19 and freaked out. I saw her later hitting the director of nursing with a rolled up newspaper. Lol!
Yeah, I’m gonne be like her, but I’m gonna fondle my waiters at the IHOP.

that is pretty disgusting. I signed up to do meals on wheels with my mom earlier in the year. One of the things on the form was stating they would investigate you to see if you had been convicted of elder abuse. I thought that was so funny, someone who went around beating up old people. I guess based on this story, there are sick M-er F-ers out there who do that shit.
