I knew this girl who met a guy at a bar. She was a waitress. He told her he was on his way out of town to go kill himself. They became a couple after that night for 1 1/2 years.
This guy guy dealt large quantities of marijuana and told the girl they were going to get married.
He bought her an engagement ring at Robbins Brothers with her credit since he was a lowlife scum.
He beat her and verbally abused her throughout the relationship.
She lied to her parents and told them he was working construction and constantly getting promotions.
The got strapped for cash and they considered filming a porn scene of them screwing each other for $5,000.
Eventually, the dirt bag pawned the ring that they bought with her money – sticking her with the bill.
If your brother is a good person but not a good boyfriend – something is missing from that equation. I think being a good person is mutual exclusive to the other arenas and he would have trouble qualifying. He is using the one he is with if what you say is true. I’m not doubting he has a kind heart but sounds like he’s into these other women for his crotch. Time will catch up with him. Some day he’ll be alone and wonder why.

It seems to be an afterthought. LL44, I respect your opinion (seriously) but Emily was not ashamed of her work, nor should she have been. This is not a memorial thread or article, as if it were, then I could see the picture as being inappropriate.
This thread is to simply talk about the incident and the people involved. If one of them had no problems posting themselves naked on the web, then I have no problems posting them naked on the web. Her being dead should make no difference. I mean, I have a pretty sexy Marilyn Monroe poster in the house.
Emily seemed like a cool girl who got killed by an asshole. Ashley seems like a kid who never actually knew Emily, but happens to have lived in the same town as her and feels the need to “stand up” for someone who doesn’t need it. Emily was quite aware of what people would think of her side job and was willing being ostracized by her family and losing her boyfriend over it. I admire her for not caring what anyone thought. I agree on Emily not being ashamed, and good on her for it. I agree that maybe Ashley isn’t as “close” to the situation as she presents herself. I guess, in terms of the picture, as a mom… I think it might bother me after her death for my ddaughter to be seen like that.
