BETHANY, Okla. – Lauren Barnes, 20, was last seen on FridayFriday reviews
at 7:30 p.m. when she told her mother she was going out with a friend. After sending out some text messages that evening, she was not heard from since. Barnes was reported missing by her mother on SaturdaySaturday reviews
. Her locked car was found on SundaySunday reviews at Eldon Lyon Park in Bethany. Police have also found out that Bethany was meeting someone at that park.
Barnes is 5 months pregnant and takes a prescription blood thinner to help with clotting problems, she does not have the medication with her. Her purse is missing and no debit card activity has been reported.
Anybody with information on this case should call 911

Huge honker, nice skin though”. Damn, how old are you? Ever been pregnant? It is really common for a pregnant woman’s face to swell, including the nose, hands, feet…pregnancy can be a hard road for some ladies. Damn, be kind. Go bash some of the baby killers, they deserve the bullshit.

I’m glad you realized that and deleted it. I’ve had two kids myself and blew up like a balloon. I was soooo full of fluid. Man, I hope they find this young sister alive, but shit the way the world is, I highly doubt it. Sorry I came off strong.

I never blew up when I was pregnant. Not much water retention at all. Or maybe I just deluded myself. That happens a lot. Heh.
And I also hope they find this girl alive, but I too am skeptical. She could have veered off the road and is lying wounded in a ditch somewhere for all we know. Not all disappearances are malicious (most, but not all). Either way, I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

I’m Lauren’s aunt.
Thank you to whoever posted this. We need to get the word and her picture out there for all to see, in case someone saw something or knows something.
It’s a shame the thread digressed and that some found a way to comment on her complexion or the size of her nose. Family and friends do read what’s on the internet about their loved one.

I personally apologize. Sometimes I think we make jokes and we poke fun, because we are all so saddened and pissed off at all these tragic events, sometimes a laugh is needed in between all the crap. But you’re right, we should all remember family and friends are reading, and well, I think I can safely say, everyone here is thinking of your niece and hoping for a good outcome.

I am sorry your that your niece is on my site, and I do hope she is found soon. I am not sure if you will be checking back in on this, but if you are, do you happen to have any better pictures of Lauren I could use? By better, I don’t mean different than the ones I am using, I would just like the one on the right without the 911 graphic at the bottom.
Also, have the authorities questioned the person she was supposed to meet?

Well, here is a strange one. On Tuesday morning, a youth group holding a prayer service near Lake Overholser found the body of a woman, a few miles from where Barnes’ car was found. The body was not that of Barnes. The cause of death for unidentified woman was unknown and was being treated as a homicide. The dead woman appeared to be between 45 to 55 years old.
That’s two cases this month in which someone was missing, and then during a search a body was found that was not of the person being searched for.

I know that families search the net for stories about their loved ones, which is another reason why I deleted my first comment. In all actuality, it was meant to be a facetious dig at Morbid for using the word “cute” in the headline, but once I read what I wrote, it sounded way worse than it was meant to. Northwind, I apologize for coming off like a twat, and I do hope your niece is found soon, hopefully alive.

According to police reports Barnes had gone to Eldon Lyon Park to speak with a man who may have been her unborn child’s father. A text message was sent from her phone at 8:40 p.m. on Friday.
