Holy shit. More proof that there is NO god or that he really doesn’t care about what happens to us.

Please tell me what attracts a grown-ass man to a child or a baby??? I used to think it was the way a girl dressed that caused the attaction but I guess I thought wrong. And in this case and the case of baby rape, when the pervert took the diaper off didn’t that give them a clue that it is a BABY??? Where does the attraction come from? Is it about control?

AND AGAIN, MAMA’S BOYFRIEND killed her child!!!!!!!! When you have a child there is no reason to have it around another man unless they are related or a parent.

Rosie, I totally agree with you. Every time I read a story like this it reminds me to be so thankful for my mom. She babysat for me and I never had to worry about anyone else taking care of my girls. A boyfriend is NOT a live in babysitter! And if he wants to do just that you’d damn well better be suspicious!

JustaMom2, I was raised by a single Mother – either my older sister or my Grandmother babysat me, she never ever left me with anyone other than a family member. My Mom dated but they were never allowed to spend the night or to take me any where. My Mom was very protective of me and I am so thankful. I was discussing this topic with my Mom and I ask her reckon why no one messed with me, and she said because they knew I would kill them and I believe her.

I think single Mom’s think they have need a man around to help out or just need a man for whatever reason when in actually all they do is sponge off the woman or treat her and her children bad.

    Rosie,

It sounds like you had a great mom! I don’t understand this need some single moms have or why they put their needs before the childs. Sometimes it’s hard to remember the GOOD moms and dads and step parents.

I honeslty don’t understand why a man would rape a baby. A baby, totally helpless, defenseless…this is disgusting.
Totally fucking disgusting. I totally agree with Kathy, there can’t be a god…seriously. He works in mysterious ways?
So…allowing innocent kids to be raped and murdered….apparently he had something better in mind for them? Like what???
What the fuck….why do some stupid women let their babies stay with their boyfriends? I mean, if he was the baby’s father sure I would but if he isn’t, there’s no fucking way in hell I’d let him watch my child. Clinton Smith obviously looks like a real winner…like he’d be so loving and kind to a child…yeah right. I wouldn’t even spit on his stupid baby raping ass…piece of shit.
    Fuck you Clinton Smith…..fuck you.

Sorry about my language, but this type of thing really pisses me the fuck off.

Nyrak, Please don’t apologize for your language. I am just as sickened. Here is just another case of a sick mother fucker. I too do not understand the attraction? The need for a baby? That is a severe mental illness if you ask me. His sentence, castration, Bubba’s bitch in prison, and live the rest of his sorry ass life in a cell the size of closet. No sunshine, no visitors, nothing. He lost, he fucked up and now he must pay. To me the worst crime possible is this kind of shit against children. Our prisons are filled with drug offenders and petty fucking thieves whilst child molesting nasty fucks are roaming the streets. I shall join you in your rant Nyrak…..Fuck You Clinton Smith…fuck you, you sick bastard.

what in the name of hell is ” involuntary deviate sexual intercourse?”

  10. Morbid
    10:08 pm on November 19th, 2007

“Deviate sexual intercourse” means sexual conduct between persons not married to each other consisting of contact between the penis and the anus, the mouth and penis, or the mouth and the vulva.

In a nutshell, I guess it means no actual penetration. The involuntary part means what it means; lack of consent.

  11. Hippiepoet
    10:12 pm on November 19th, 2007

    Pari,
    I copied this from Wikipedia….

“Deviant sexual intercourse is a legal term for any act of sexual gratification involving the sex organs of one person and the mouth or anus of another, or involving invasion of the anus or vagina of one person by a foreign object manipulated by another person. Typically, the act itself is not a crime, but the term is used to describe forcible or otherwise involuntary acts that differ from the crime of rape. The term has generally replaced sodomy in the criminal codes of the United States.”

I’m with Kathy. I will never believe in a god. A god who could create an infinite universe could surely have stepped in and saved little Da’Niyah, and all the other victims.

I’ve seen many many horrible accounts of senseless murder but this one stopped my breathing and I lost the ability to see colors for a moment. How do we deal with such sadness weighing upon our hearts? I talked to a therapist who suggested that volunteering to help the homeless would ease the burden but all I want to do with my spare time is hyper-vigilantly guard my toddlers.

The death penalty does nothing to stop the murders and I am opposed to it. I consider the death penalty to be an escape route for these monsters.

  14. Morbid
    1:12 pm on November 20th, 2007

Personally, I look at the death penalty a bit different from others. I don’t want David Spears or Chris Collings or this asshole to suffer. In some ways, that makes me no different. I look at the death penalty as a simple, effective safety measure.

I know people have issues with this line of thought, but dead pedophiles do not re-offend. Until there is a day you can 100 percent guarantee me that someone who has raped a baby to death will NEVER do anything like that again, I go with the bullet to the brain approach.

  15. Kathy
    2:14 pm on November 20th, 2007

I agree with Morbid on the death penalty issue. Its the only way to guarantee that these monsters never re-offend. I also believe its the only way to affirm the value of the life of the victim. You take a life, you must pay the highest penalty possible by losing your life.

But unlike Morbid, I want these bastards to SUFFER! Heh.

  16. thepooh5
    3:11 pm on November 20th, 2007

Morbid, I agree, that is the only guarantee these guys do not re-offend. I, also agree with Kathy. I think they should have to suffer long and hard for their crimes. Which poses an interesting question to myself – Would I prefer……….”they suffer because they derserve it”? or “Don’t worry about how much they suffer – just get rid of the problem and justice is served”?

Sometimes, I feel death is the easy way out – for those sick bastards. Why should they get out easy?

But, if I want to rise above the shit, I have to be more humane than those bastards were. But, do they deserve my humanity? — NO! NO! NO!

What a question I have posed to myself. I still don’t know – but something, anything needs to be done that will change the behavior of the sicko psychos.

I too agree with both Morbid and Kathy. I like Morbid’s thoughts that they need to be executed and expelled from society so that they may not EVER be able to harm again. But I (for some sick reason) do think that they need a bit of suffering prior to their exit from this life. I feel that they should have atleast some sort of understanding or knowledge of how their victims felt, and how they suffered and feared for what was being done to them. Then shoot em in the head!:-)

I’am a little worried about myself for feeling that way. To address Morbid’s point of am I really any better than them? But thinking about it. Yes, I am better because I would not wish to inflict this upon any innocent being, but only on those offenders who inflicted it first!

My only issue with the “torture” aspect of criminals is the fact that we don’t know everything about why people get that way, especially not on an individual basis. I am not excusing any of them, but some are born that way, most are made that way. I would rather not torture someone who may have become what they have become because of mental issues, a genetic defect, abuse, or all of the above, and just tell them:

“Sorry you may have born this way, sorry if society has failed you in some way, sorry if you were made this way at the hands of another, and sorry we do not have a way to fix you to ensure you never, ever do this again. So, for the safety of the rest of us functioning human beings, Good-bye.”

Then a nice, quick, painless exit. Bullet, guillotine, flamethrower…whatever. Oh yeah, make it public.

  19. Kristi
    5:43 pm on November 20th, 2007

Well okay Morbid, I see your point.

How about this…For those committing crimes against people over 18 we go straight to the bullet in the head idea. But for violent crimes against children we induce a little torture first?

Not that violent crimes against those over 18 are any better or more acceptable but for me personally, I don’t give a damn about how or why you are the way you are, if you have violently harmed or killed a child all bets are off and you need to pay BIG TIME! The more severe and harsh the better. (scaring myself again)

Morbid your post #18 – you have made a point that has reached my brain and my heart and answered a question I posed to myself in a post I made in another article. Thank you.

I have to support the statement of:

My only issue with the “torture” aspect of criminals is the fact that we don’t know everything about why people get that way, especially not on an individual basis. I am not excusing any of them, but some are born that way, most are made that way. You are absolutely correct!!! That is truly the only way to distinguish ourselves from the trash we all have been discussing and to separate ourselves from the animals.

When we find out that someone has done these terrible acts – just end it for everyone’s sake. No matter how much we all believe they deserve to suffer or need to suffer – the act of just removing them from society is what brings justice to the victim and is why we can rise above the shit and not be on their same level.

Enjoying the torture of another human – no matter how sorry they are or how DESERVING THEY ARE – in an indirect way puts me on their level – and that is a place I refuse to be.

AGAIN, THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE DEATH PENALTY IS THAT IT IS NOT USED ENOUGH!

  21. Sam
    12:36 pm on November 21st, 2007

I think that deliberately killing a human, no matter how much of a monster he is, is torture. To “separate ourselves from the animals” and “not be on their same level” we should not kill a human for any reason.

Once this trial is over, I expect this deviant to be put away forever, no chance of parole, and I never want to hear his name again. He will suffer great pain in prison, he will die alone.

  22. Morbid
    12:46 pm on November 21st, 2007

But that’s just it Sam. He will not die alone and he may not suffer any pain at all. In fact, it is not even a guarantee that he wont get out. If these men are as deviant as they seem to be, you think sex with a male is going to be some atrocious act for them? They split open a screaming 9-year-old girl. The fact either of these two will get to watch TV, eat a meal, play chess or basketball after what they have done is absolutely obscene to me. They are a menace to society and will continue to be so until they die. Why prolong things?

    Edit:
I thought we were talking about David Spears and Chris Collings. Too many baby rapers this month. But my point\opinion still stands.

  23. thepooh5
    1:04 pm on November 21st, 2007

I support that statement, too, Morbid. And as to…..”we should not kill a human for any reason”……..these POS are sub-human, if they can even be put in the same catagory as a human!

Sam, would you feel that way if it were your baby, or neice, or a family friend. Why do you care more about the right of the attacker to live than the dead baby? I do not understand – how by any stretch of the imagination, that you believe he deserves to live. It is all I can do to just pray for the death penalty instead of a long slow torturous death – like he inflicted on the baby! I am willing to listen to your reasons.

  24. Morbid
    1:09 pm on November 21st, 2007

I guess I’ll never understand the “Let’s not kill him and give him a quick death, because that is wrong…let’s make him suffer for years until he dies a lonely death” stance. My way seems more human…and more humane.

  25. thepooh5
    1:15 pm on November 21st, 2007

Again, Morbid you are right. Your way is the most humane – that is why I am trying to force it into my mind and heart as being the right thing to do.

My emotions are for him and those other sicko psychos to suffer long and hard and repeatedly.

But, I am working on being a better person – so quick death, quick death, quick death — I’m trying!!!

  26. Morbid
    1:28 pm on November 21st, 2007

As much as I love to hear the words “Morbid, you are right” as my ex-girlfriend seemed to spout the exact opposite…and ended it with the word “asshole”, I do understand why people oppose the death penalty, and I do understand why people want others to suffer. Had Rowan or this baby been my kid, the people that did the deed would linger in a world of pain and humiliation unlike anything they inflicted themselves.

But I don’t like arguing the death penalty on moral or religious grounds, as I just look at it as a safety measure and probably not unlike most look at how to deal with a rabid dog. You don’t torture it, you dispose of it. But then I get flack for comparing the life of a human with that of a dog…which I then like to point at cases like this and actually wonder do these people really think that a man’s life, a man that raped a baby to death, is comparable to anything at all? They are defective. And at this point in our day and age, unable to be fixed.

  27. Sam
    2:08 pm on November 21st, 2007

I struggled with the death penalty issue for years and I was tired of sitting on the fence. The death row inmates who have been freed by DNA testing make me wonder how many innocent humans we’ve executed, and that helped me make my decision. I am against the death penalty, but I must admit that cases like this make me rethink my position. It looks like they probably have this guy’s DNA and teeth imprints, so there is no doubt he did this horrible crime, a crime which is almost beyond belief to me.

I definitely do not care more about the rights of the attacker than those of the victim, in fact, I don’t really care about his rights at all. I just don’t want his blood on my hands. However, if I caught him in the act of attacking my child I would most definitely put more bullets in him than it would take to kill him.

I have heard many times about the way the prison population deals with child rapists/killers. It must be true and that is why I believe he will suffer great pain for years and perhaps a painful death in prison.

I am also comfortable with my belief that executing him would allow him to “escape” although I am not so sure that death is actually release from pain.

The prison system is getting much better at keeping prisoners from escaping. He will not escape. However, I would never live near a prison.

How painful and frightening Da’Niyah’s last days must have been. Time numbs the intensity of my sadness but there’s always another crime. There is no doubt that a child is being tortured at this very moment somewhere and I feel helpless. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to deal with this sadness? Does anyone have any good coping strategies?

  28. Morbid
    2:15 pm on November 21st, 2007

I have a great way to deal with this story and other like it. Let it anger you and depress you. The worse thing that could ever happen is that we as a society grow apathetic to it. Some argue that sites like mine help in making society numb to these horrors because we beat people over the head with it. I don’t agree, as I read 5 times more crap than I actually post and I am not apathetic to any of it.

I suggest being involved. Don’t wait, like most do, for crime to hit you before you take a stance or become active. Help pass laws, vote for people who you agree with in regards to criminals, be a Big Brother\Big Sister. There are a TON of things you can do to combat my stories I post, but the worse thing anyone could possibly do is nothing at all.

As Morbid has said ….. do something. All of us, including myself, have spent a lot of time typing out our debates for or against……..no matter.

So, I call on everyone who posts, write your congressman or representative, voice how sick to death we are of POS baby rapers and murders getting slapped on the wrist, while someone who smokes a little weed will get 10 years or longer – and not that I am for drinking and driving – you will spend more time in jail for DWI than murder. Hell, it doens’t have to be DWI.

One personal example: Neighbor, who I knew since we were kids, shoots “friend” for no reason at all – quoting actual witness in back seat of car when it occured….”Billy picked up the .357 and told Kevin, ‘I’m gonna blow your head off.’ Kevin believing Billy was just kidding, after all we had been out running around all day, man, told Bille,…..’go ahead, Bill’ and Kevin laughed. Billy shot him right in the head, man, while he was driving us down the road.”

Billy pulled 6 months in jail and had work release 6 days a week from 5am until 6pm.

My husband, out ran the cops out of TN into NC. He was charged with 2 counts of reckless endangerment and 1 count of evading arrest – he pulled 5 months – no work release.

How can that be possible – murder gets 6 months but out running the cops and embarrassing the cops 5 months? This happened in the same suck hole county in TN and in the same jail.

CRY OUT TO YOUR LAW MAKERS FOR STIFFER PENALTIES FOR BABY RAPERS!!!!!

I’m kinda with Sam here. I mean this is how I look at it. If I were to commit some heinous crime. I would much rather die than to live the rest of my life in prison. That to me would be insanity. I’d kill myself. I’m sure I would. Dying for me, means that you gain new life. These fuckers shouldn’t get to escape from their shit so easily.
I do agree about our prisons though, they’re pansy ass places. Prisons need changed. As I’ve said before. One tiny cell, cot on the floor, bathroom. Feed ‘em cheap shit everyday. They see no light of day, no TV, no computers, not jack shit. The fucks sit there everyday thinking, and waiting to die in there little shit hole cell. That is what a raping fuck should get.

My take on the death penalty…..

Where child rapists and murderers are concerned the death penalty should be carried out by placing the sick fuck in the prison courtyard, yelling “BABY KILLER”, and letting the other inmates out for their excercise.

  32. Sam
    10:09 am on November 28th, 2007

I’m guessing the SF was blackout drunk and probably on other drugs. He probably has no recollection of his unforgiveable actions. This is not an excuse. He should be locked up forever.

It is a strange thought that there are people who are locked away forever, they can’t believe what they did, they feel horrible for it every day and know that they will never be forgiven, and yet have no recollection whatsoever of committing the crime.

Perhaps society could offer those hopeless outcasts a chance to commit suicide. However, that would still give them a relatively easy way out, like the death penalty.

If my mother learned to use computers and began following this case she would have been embarrassed at reading the words ’sick fuck’ but she would get used to it quickly.
