i read from other comments that he is 19-years younger than the mom and that they got married in a bar by a man who was ordained over the internet. In some ways, I really hope that is all true.

yes this is that fat bastard. yes he is much younger than his wife. we got the phone call this morning from a friend in powell who said they found her. i am on my way to missouri tonight. if i hear anything new i will keep you posted. the hardest thing is that my boys is taking this hard. they knew her and her sister from school.

Newton County Sheriff Ken Copeland, in a press conference Friday night, said
two arrests have been made in the case of 9-year-old Rowan Ford who was
found dead Friday morning in McDonald County after being missing for 7 days.
One of the arrests occured in Barry County after one man turned himself in
earlier this evening. Copeland said another man was waiting in the Newton
County Jail to be arrested by Barry County officials.
Copeland said that evidence indicated that Ford was killed in Barry County
just across the McDonald county line where her body was found near Powell
earlier this morning.
Investigators said the focus of the investigation changed rapidly this
afternoon after police interviewed several individuals. An autopsy on Ford
will be performed in Springfield on Saturday.

One man has been arrested in Barry County and another is in custody at the
Newton County Sheriff’s Department — both expected to be charged in Barry
County with the murder of 9-year-old Rowan Ford, of Stella.
Newton County Sheriff Ken Copeland said the investigation into Ford’s
abduction and slaying took “total change in direction” about 6 p.m. on
Friday, 10 hours after the girl’s body was found in a sinkhole in McDonald
County.
During a press conference at the Newton County Sheriff’s Department,
Copeland said the change in direction came about as a result of an interview
of a Barry County man. He said that interview lead investigators to a murder
scene in Barry County where they believe the girl was killed. The sheriff
said it now appears Rowan was abducted from her home in Newton County,
murdered in Barry County and her body disposed of in McDonald County.
The FBI and Newton County Sheriff’s Department were not releasing the names
of the men arrested in Barry County pending the filing of formal charges.
Copeland said kidnapping charges are likely to be filed in Newton County but
the murder charges will be filed in Barry County.
He would not discuss whether either of the men under arrest is David Spears,
Rowan Ford’s stepfather.

There used to be a cop here that would stop the young girls and threaten them with tickets or arrests and then sleep with them to sweep it under the rug. Rumor has it he has a couple of illigitimate kids from these escapades but no one ever did anything about it. He just finally retired. But most of the girls he messed with probably liked it anyway.
But this is a messed up deal. 15 is way young, but she was too damn young to be in the car with the 20 year old as well.
