WAUKEGAN, Ill. - The father of a 4-month old boy was visiting his girlfriend in a Waukegan apartment SaturdaySaturday reviews
night. Placing the infant on the couch, surrounded by blankets, the couple went into another room to sleep. Sometime early SundaySunday reviews, the girlfriend was wakened by the sound of the infant screaming. She found that her pet dachshund, which had been left with the infant, had chewed through the diapers and eaten the boys genitals. The boy was taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge where he was listed in stable condition. Surgery was performed on the dog, but police said the dog vomited and a veterinarian determined the tissue was substantially destroyed and reattachment would not be possible. The Waukegan Police Criminal Investigations Division and the Lake County States Attorney’s Office are still investigating the incident.

I am just surprised that people still leave small infants alone with animals of any size or type. It is the dumbest thing a person can do in regards to leaving small children alone.
Hell, the kid would have been better off if they had a pedophile babysit for them. At least he would still have his friggin’ genitals.
