LAKELAND — Marshal Seymour, 40, was jailed SundaySunday reviews in Lakeland, Fla., on charges of using a child in sexual performance, unlawful sexual activity with a minor and tampering with evidence. He was then working as a youth minister at Parkway Assembly of God on Dauphin Island Parkway. How was a youth minister, who was previously charged with having sex with a young boy, get another job in a church working with youth? Well, it was God's will and the fact that the sodomy charge was dropped and Seymour pleaded guilty to third-degree assault in lieu of the second-degree sexual abuse charge. This means that when the First Baptist Church ran a background check, the assault charge did not show up, as it was a misdemeanor. This left Seymour with another job, and another fresh group of young, impressionable young boys to put his dick in. God sure works in mysterious ways.
