Amanda Smith Was Lying; Strangled Son

A few months back, a tub of shit by the name of Amanda Reagan Smith, 27, told police that her and her son were carjacked and taken to a remote location where the assailant proceeded to smother her 7-year-old son, Devon, with a pillow. Of course, everyone, including the police, though the story smelled as fishy as Paris Hilton's underwear drawer and while the specific details that have led to the arrest have yet to be given, aside from the coroners report that the boy died from asphyxiation due to neck compression, they have arrested Amanda and charged her with his murder.
I know it may be hard to believe, but occasionally, I do get a little tore up with certain stories. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that for better or worse, I spawned. So for the life of me, I just do not get these parents killing their kids. Especially not when they are 7-years-old and able to reason, to plead, to know EXACTLY what is happening.

This is a local story to me. I knew from the minute she claimed a carjacker did it that she was a lying sack of shit. What kind of carjacker makes you drive around and doesn’t take your car, rob you, or rape you, but kills your kid? My 5 year old comes up with better lies than that.
Whats even worse is that the boy was developmentally delayed in some way. Do you know how TRUSTING those kids are? What a horrible bitch.

What kills me is that she strangled him. She was able to use her bare hands to do the job. The family of the father stated that the boy was almost burned up in his room 3 months before this “carjacking” event. He was able to escape the fire…to save his mother. Arson was never ruled out in that case.

I hadn’t thought of it that way. Absolutely heart wrenching. Burning and then strangling. How can you do that to a little kid?
I can’t wait to hear the motive. Too late to plead insanity. She already tried to cover her tracks.

This is awful. The kid helps save her from a fire she started and she returns the favor by strangling the life out of him?
Also am I the only one who is getting sick of all these mothers claiming that someone stole their car with the child inside? No wonder the police didn’t believe her. Has that bullshit story EVER worked?

Hey, at least she didn’t try claiming the “carjacker” was Black or Hispanic. I guess making him a White red headed man made her story more believable. *eyeroll*

Update: Bond has been set Monday morning for the woman accused of murdering her son and lying about a carjacking to cover up the crime. A judge in Greenville set bail at $250,000 for Amanda Smith.
