DETROIT (AP) — Jason L. Davis, 34, his girlfriend, Lynnette Lawson, 28, and her two children, Alexus Eppinger, 9; and Terrence Eppinger, 6 were all found dead of gunshot wounds in their home. The shootings are believed to have occurred around 3:30 a.m., police said. The boy died of a single gunshot wound to the abdomen, and the other victims all were shot multiple times at close range, according to the Wayne County medical examiner’s office.
There were no signs of forced entry into the heavily secured home — which police identified as a suspected drug house — leading investigators to believe that the assailant was likely allowed into the home and later shot the victims with a high-powered assault rifle after they had fallen asleep.
Detroit police said this afternoon they are questioning a man about the slayings, but said no one has been arrested yet.

I wonder why all these people are so upset about the kids now that they have been killed, instead of during the time they were known to be living in a drug house? What did they expect to happen?

Amen Morbid.
But not only to kill a child, but a SLEEPING child?! Come on! You gotta be some kind of super monster. Any parent who has ever watched their child sleep can understand what I'm saying.

Morbid – I was thinking the same. Authorities have been to the house on a few occasions. They suspected drug/criminal activity, so why was this not reported to Dept. of Children & Youth.

Too bad it will only be the shooter held responsible for these deaths.
