CORSICANA, Texas — 6-year-old Hannah Mack was found hanging inside her family’s garage. She had also been sexually assaulted before she died. Police have made no arrests or named any suspects and are saying little about their investigation. Police also asked state caseworkers to not say whether Hannah’s family had been investigated by child welfare officers.
Navarro County Judge Vicki Gray said an autopsy of the body showed “a multitude of events that together caused the death of this child.“.

A Navarro County jury found Kevin Wayne Anders, 35, guilty of 10 counts of possession of child pornography after about an hour of deliberations Thursday, and District Judge James Lagomarsino followed that up with ten 10-year sentences, to be served consecutively. It was his first felony conviction.

Hanna was sick years old. I know at that age you still feel much a like a baby and the next moment excited about being a “big girl”. I don’t understand the evils like this that are committed, and how it is that people turn this way. I do believe that these two monsters will face retribution as they took an innocent soul and stole a life that was not theirs to take. Hell will be waiting. This I know.
Littlest Hanna, in your last moments I hope your consciousness left your body then followed your spirit as to not experience the physical assault. The smallest of souls, untarnished and innocent are those most pure of love. You did not get the chance to shine here and show all that glory but I see it in your smile. I know in all that I believe and hold dear in my heart, your precious smile lights the heavens. Kisses sweet one, you will not be forgotten.
