Amazing news. Microsoft has extended a limited warranty for XBox 360’s for three years to cover the Red Ring of Death defect. Estimates are putting the RRoD and other problems at 30% for the 360. It seems that recent rage on forums has pushed Microsoft to extend the 360 warranty for the second time since the console was launched nearly 2 years ago.

This is great news. I like to think my last three posts on this issue are what caught Microsoft’s attention.
