Seems as if it is official. Legendary Films website lists DiabloDiablo reviews in their In Development section. Diablo is a hack and slash video game created by BlizzardBlizzard reviews in 1996. It was followed by expansion packs and a sequel. The original game entailed the player saving the town of Tristram, a town beset by the demon Diablo and his minions.

Something else worth noting in regards to Legendary Films In Development section…aside from Diablo, SupermanSuperman reviews 2, World of Warcraft and Clash of the Titans are also listed.
