HOUSTON – 58-year-old Raymond Shaw, a man who has been in poor health and whose wife passed away a few years ago, came home to find a group of boys in his house. The boys were there to see Raymond’s 13-year-old son. Raymond ordered all of the juveniles out of his house, but one boy, 11-year old Jonathan Dixon, allegedly pushed Raymond and cussed him before leaving.

Raymond then did what any of us would have done at that point, he grabbed his sawed-off shotgun, followed the boy into the yard, and then shot him in the back of the head.

Neighbors were able to get the gun away from Raymond as he was trying to reload.

Shaw is being held in the Harris County Jail with bail set at $50,000.
