Hot Summer for 360 Ahead!

Better slap a 3rd party cooler on your 360, because this is going to be a hot, hot, hot summer for the popular console.

I know, I know, “Summer Gaming?” you ask. Yeah, summer gaming. For a change. It never ceases to baffle me that game companies don’t release more games during the summer, you know, when kids don’t have any homework to do and are sitting around the house bored all day. The movie studios long figured out that this was the time to entertain, and it looks like gaming companies are about to stumble into the same realization. And the XBox 360 looks to be the main beneficiary. Let’s make a list, shall we? Hot Summer for 360 Ahead!

Spiderman 3 - 5/4
Command and Conquer 3 – 5/8
Forza 2 – 5/15
Shadowrun – 5/29
Mass Effect – 6/19
The Darkness – 6/25
Two Worlds – 6/25
Stranglehold – 8/1
Blue Dragon – 8/1
Too Human (Part 1) – 8/6
BioShock – 8/21

Click on any of the games to go to IGN’s coverage. As you can see, there is only one FPS, the rest are action, adventure, RPG, driving, etc.

It is very nice to see the XBox getting a more varied library. Very nice indeed.

As long as you have a 360 in a well ventilated area you definitely shouldn’t need an intercooler. Mine never gets hot to the touch.

Not to mention that the intercooler is yet another crap product from a crap company. It has a better chance at ruining your console than it does at helping anything. Do some searching on that one and I’m sure you will see some amusing results.

It seemed to me that while he was listing future releases that he was at the same time commenting on the over heating problem that so many seem to think the 360 has. I could be wrong though.
