Panel Rules Homicide In Fetus SlayingIllinois - More details are being released in regards to the murder of Jimella Tunstall and her three children.

Friend of the family, Tiffany Hall, clubbed the pregnant Tunstall in the head repeatedly with a table leg, dragged her into a bathtub and then cut her fetus from the womb. Mrs. Hall then drowned all three of Mrs. Tunstall’s children in the same bathtub, 2-year-old Ivan Tunstall-Collins, 1-year-old Jinela Tunstall and 7-year-old, DeMond Tunstall.

The grisly details in the September slayings were revealed at a hearing where a coroner’s jury concluded that the deaths were homicides.

Hall admitted to investigators that she “had been thinking about taking the baby for some time” before actually going through with it. Hall confessed to her boyfriend who then notified police, who then found Tunstall’s body in a plastic container behind the residence. The 3 children were later discovered in the washer and dryer of Tunstall’s apartment. Investigators had searched the apartment before, but had not looked in those locations for the missing children.

Update: In 2008, Hall pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life behind bars.

      Wow. That’s all pretty gruesome. I was looking at the article below this one and when I scrolled up a little bit I noticed the tag “cut fetus from womb”. I just figured it was going to be a story about abortion.

      It sort of was an abortion, I guess. She went through all that trouble and still killed the fetus. One of the creepiest parts is that the pregnant woman wasn’t even dead…she was alive and bound. That means that she was alive and witnessed this woman remove her fetus from her. That’s crazy.

      The washer and dryer? Was she trying to clean them up? God, who thinks of hiding kids’ bodies in a washer and dryer?

      Did this woman have any kind of record? Or did this just burst forth? Why didn’t she have her own baby? Friend of the family — longterm?

      This is just awful. And the woman was alive when she cut her open. I hope she had been clubbed to unconsciousness.

      Oh! She drowned Jimellas other three children, three days after cutting the fetus from Jimella! Demond, Ivan and Jinella were staying with their Father and Tiffany went to pick them up telling their Father,Ivan Collins, Jimella had asked her to and then she took them back to the apartment and drowned them. That is evil.Pure Evil.
      Tiffany Hall had two children of her own, but lost them in 1999, because of abuse. She got them back in 2001 and they were living with her when she did these crimes!! Now, they’re in foster care, again!!
