Because the text-input addon for the XBox 360 controller has been announced, which means you’ll be able to assault your online foes textually, as well as verbally. Microsoft has repeatedly said that keyboards will play no role in gaming, so this is for chat only. Of course, I wouldn’t be surprised to see text input in games to support the contraption. It sure would be nice to not have to select letters from a virtual keyboard anymore.
But hey, we all know that this is just another neat tool for the bigots to use in order to ruin online play for everyone else.
